Education as a continuing journey

The college begins from a simple conviction: that education starts at birth and continues through life. Our role is not only to make students literate and academically able, but to help them grow wise enough to use that ability well.

We hold that a student's self respect, dignity, and physical and emotional wellbeing deserve the same attention as academic success. Wisdom, in our understanding, grows gradually in every person, and it is cultivated through care, encouragement and steady practice.

The needs of learners today differ from those of earlier generations. Competition has grown, and science and technology have moved quickly. Students must leave this campus with the skills to meet a changing world, and they can do so when the surroundings around them are stimulating and purposeful. That is why the college keeps working on its classrooms, its library, its laboratories and its teaching.

Beyond the syllabus, we place value on cocurricular life. Through games and sports, music, cultural and literary activity, and social welfare schemes, students discover their own strengths and learn to work with others. We take pride in the students who have grown here and gone on to serve their communities and the wider society.

We are grateful to the parents and the public who have placed their faith in this institution. That trust is the reason the college keeps reaching for higher standards in every area of higher education, and we will continue to do our very best.
